The Jones House, in the historic district of Murphusboro, is the "headquater" of the Oak Street Art collective. The porches were repaired before our 8th edition of the Annual Art Fair. One of this spaces, on Oak St and 16th St, was inaugurated as our "music stage", with the performance of great local musicians. The main door with the stain glass was also restored. All the restorations were executed by the talented Mark Gindlesparger who spent considerable time and effort to fix up the house that we can enjoy now. In the near future, the Jones House will be an excellent space for exhibits and  art related activities.  

Work by Luca Cruzat was accepted to an National 2024 Printmaking Exhibition at Five Points Arts Center in Torrington, CT. From 400, 92 works were selected by juror Donna Frustere.

WE DID IT!
The collective Oak Street Art accomplish April 27, one more year organizing the Oak Street Art Fair, a day of art, music and friendly exchange between artists participants and the public. Even in the rain, people show up, walk the streets, exchange conversation, and buy pieces of art to take home.

April 28th, Art Chat at Shrode Art Center at Cedarhurst Center for the Arts, Mt Vernon, IL. A conversation moderated by Carrie Gibbs, the director. Madeline Steimle and Luca Cruzat , among other artists, were able to talk about their work in the exhibit 2024 Shrode Fine Art & Craft competition.
