The more I can strip away preconceived ideas of what things “are,” the more I can see what is right in front of me. In the tradition of Miksang contemplative photography, I aim to see with a "fresh eye" and to share that view through my images.
I've been taking pictures for, um, a while now and have been featured in solo and group exhibitions since 2011. Happily, I had two photos (below) selected for the juried 2018 Shrode Photography Competition & Exhibition at Cedarhurst Center for the Arts, and one of them ("Abstract, Colored Straws") won First Place out of 212 entries.
